Patrick D. Thompson grew up in the 11th ward, learning the importance of family and being a good neighbor. He currently serves our community as a Commissioner of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD).
- Patrick is active in a number of civic organizations such as the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence, Valentine Boys and Girls Club of Chicago, and the South Loop Chamber of Commerce.
- Receiving his law degree from John Marshall Law School in 1999 Patrick began his legal career with a focus on real estate and municipal finance.
- Patrick and his wife Katie, a school teacher, are raising their children on the same block where Patrick was raised. Their oldest daughter, Nora, is a senior at St. Ignatius. Their other two children, Grace and Patrick, attend Bridgeport Catholic Academy.
